Flying fish are the favorite species to catch, but the fishing grounds near the village also have tuna, manta rays, sharks and more. The stories with these pictures came from talks between facilitators and photographers and subsequent conversations that Lamalera elders had with many people in the community about the meaning of the pictures. All pictures were taken by Photovoices volunteer photographers.
