The Photovoices process in Boti was an interesting challenge since the people have had little experience with modern technology and few opportunities to talk about their unique culture. Through training and practice the village photographers learned how to use the cameras but always yielded to the King and the King's Advisor to describe Boti culture and religion and to tell the other stories behind the pictures.

The stories with these pictures come from talks between the facilitator and photographers and from a follow-up project that is still underway in Boti to get deeper stories behind the pictures. All pictures were taken by Photovoices volunteer photographers.
